Latin America's Top Crime Games on iOS Show Varied Q1 2024 Performance

Latin America's gaming scene witnessed varied trends in the crime genre on iOS for the first quarter of 2024. According to Sensor Tower, the top five contenders displayed diverse patterns in downloads, revenue, and user engagement.

June’s Journey: Hidden Objects by Wooga, a German publisher, showed a strong performance with revenue peaking at approximately $25K in the third week of January before fluctuating throughout the quarter. Downloads reached a high of over 3K in mid-February, while weekly active users (WAU) maintained a steady range between 29K and 35K.

Manor Matters from the Irish publisher Playrix, experienced a modest quarter in terms of revenue with a peak of nearly $7K in the first week. Downloads saw a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 1K in late March. WAUs showed a slight decline but remained above 25K throughout the quarter.

Phantix Games' Mafia City: War of Underworld had an erratic revenue journey, with a notable spike to $14K in mid-February. The game's downloads saw a dip to below 2K towards the end of March, and WAUs decreased to around 7K in the same period.

The same publisher's The Grand Mafia Global had fluctuating revenue, reaching over $12K in mid-January but declining sharply thereafter. Downloads for the title showed a general decline, dropping to below 1K by the end of March. WAUs followed a similar downward trend, ending at approximately 12K.

Rockstar Games’ iconic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas had a revenue decline from $10K in the new year to below $3K by the quarter's end. Downloads remained under 1K, with a slight increase in early March. WAUs showed a consistent decrease, finishing the quarter at just below 3K.
